This policy explains what information CalcEnough collects when you use this website, why, and the choices you have.

Using the calculators

The calculators work without an account and don’t ask for personal information. The measurements and prices you enter are sent to our server to calculate the result and appear in the page address so results can be shared. We don’t store them against you, and calculator pages don’t set cookies of their own.

Contact form

If you send us a message, we receive your name, email address and message by email and use them only to reply. The contact page uses a session cookie and a security token cookie so the form works and can’t be abused; they expire when you close your browser or shortly after. We keep messages only as long as needed to deal with them.

Server logs

Like most websites, our servers record technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. These logs are kept for a limited time.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics to understand which calculators are used and how to improve them. It uses cookies or similar technology to collect usage information such as pages viewed and the device type. We record which calculator features are used (for example that a result was calculated or copied), never the values you enter. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on or your browser’s privacy settings.

Advertising

We may show ads served by Google and its partners to keep the calculators free. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google’s Ads Settings or at aboutads.info. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent before setting advertising cookies.

Sharing

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help run the site (such as hosting and email delivery), or where required by law.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to how it is used. To make a request, use our contact form.

Children

This site is meant for adults planning home projects and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example when we add analytics or advertising features. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
